An exciting role now exists within our Legal Project Management team for a Senior Reporting Analyst - Projects. 

This key role will support the financial reporting and matter management of large-scale legal projects, partnering closely with legal teams to deliver tailored financial tracking, forecasts, and reporting. Working directly with the Head of Legal Project Management and Pricing, the successful candidate will play a vital part in enhancing pricing strategies and project delivery through high-quality reporting and collaboration. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and experience in project accounting or business analysis within a professional services environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on project administrative support on large scale matters using software tools (eg Excel, MS Project) to assist with the efficient delivery of client service
  • Creating bespoke financial reporting for key internal and external stakeholders, that is accurate, timely and useable. These will include progress against matter budget, forecast, cashflow and other ad hoc reports.
  • Business partnering with partners and legal teams
  • Assist wider team with any complex client reporting requirements (predominantly using advanced excel skills)
  • Provide input into the development of pitches and tenders
  • As a member of the wider Legal Project Management team, assist with the implementation of Legal Project Management methodology across the firm

Required skills and experience:

  • Previous experience as a business analyst or project accountant essential
  • Knowledge and understanding of delivery of large-scale matters and projects in a professional services environment eg engineering, finance, legal is highly desirable
  • MS Excel (advanced), Power BI (ideal but not required)
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships across all levels of the business
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to quality assure work to a high standard
  • Excellent problem solving abilities
  • Ability to grasp instructions quickly
  • Ability to work autonomously
