The Project Manager will assist in the successful completion of Corrs technology business projects, focusing on business improvement and services optimisation. These projects vary in size, complexity and cost and span a number of functional areas including technology.

The PM will be an integral part of the Project Delivery (PD) team.  The project teams will be dynamic and will involve staff from all levels within the business. Communication to other project stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, is also a requirement of the role.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with technology and business teams to define and deliver projects.
  • Manage project operations per the Corrs Project Management Methodology for quality outcomes.
  • Prepare key documents like RFPs, Executive Briefs, and Project Briefs.
  • Define each project's time, cost, and quality expectations with stakeholders at initiation.
  • Monitor critical path dates and dependencies for each project to ensure specified completion dates are achieved.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to communicate, educate and embed changes in systems, processes and behaviour.

Required skills and experience

  • 3-5 years experience working on projects
  • End-to-end project management of medium to large scale projects in a complex environment with both a business and technology focus.
  • Sound understanding and consistent application of project management competencies including scope, time, cost and quality.
  • Strong customer focus with a positive and proactive approach to client service.
  • Ability to apply analytical and conceptual thinking.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant industry certification, such as PMBOK, Prince II or Agile Project Management
  • Experience in a professional services environment
