We are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our market-leading Corporate M&A team in Sydney.

This opportunity will suit a dynamic individual who thrives working in a fast-paced legal environment. Experience within a transactional practice area (such as Corporate or Financial Services) will be highly regarded.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinating communications and relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders
  • Overseeing efficient file management and document organization
  • Managing complex calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments
  • Handling billing processes, time coding, and preparing detailed reports
  • Organizing comprehensive travel arrangements, including flights and accommodation

Required skills and personal attributes

  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Proactive and able to work independently with limited supervision
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
  • Advanced knowledge of CMS/Aderant or other finance related software
  • Ability to develop and foster excellent professional relationships internally and with clients
