Business Development Adviser

An opportunity now exists for a Business Development professional to join our Business Development team. This role has the flexibility to be based from our Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne offices.
We are looking for an energetic, proactive and collaborative individual to contribute to the growth trajectory of the firm.
The Business Development Adviser contributes to the firm’s client retention, client development and new business development initiatives through driving activities such as:
- Taking responsibility and ownership for the execution of practice group and client business development priorities, including taking the lead on agreed projects and initiatives
- Contributing to the development and implementation of practice group and client plans
- Client plan implementation and provision of business development advice
- Best practice tender and credential management
- Research and communication of opportunities
- Event management associated with specific client initiatives

Required skills and experience
- Marketing degree or relevant business qualification
- 3+ years marketing experience in professional services
- Experience in drafting tenders is essential
- Strong proprietary attitude; customer focus and service attitude, demonstrated drive and initiative, ability to manage multiple tasks/projects, a continual improvement mindset
- Project management skills
- Stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Tender management skills
- Advanced business writing skills
- Research and analytical skills.
