An opportunity exists for a digital marketing professional to join our energetic and collaborative Communications & Marketing team. This is a permanent role which can be based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne.

In this role, you will work closely with the Digital Content Lead to draft, edit and develop digital content across all of Corrs’ social media and digital platforms, ensuring Corrs is sufficiently and appropriately positioned in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading social media content development and posting across all firm social channels, including creating post content and obtaining sign-offs
  • Managing social media scheduling and planning, including maintaining a firm-wide social media calendar and integrating this into the broader firm content calendar, and proactive planning and scheduling of day-to-day posts
  • Assisting the Digital Content Lead with creating, planning and executing campaign-related social media, website and eDM content
  • Managing social media monitoring, including daily monitoring of and reporting on all firm social media accounts, managing social media inbox messages and executing a social media comment moderation policy
  • Setting up and maintaining contact with key groups across the firm (including D&I committees, pro bono and community committees, social committees etc.) to generate potential content for use on social media
  • Ongoing management of and content creation for other social media-related pages, including LinkedIn Life, Instagram highlight reels etc
  • Briefing and liaising with Studio for assistance with graphic content whenever necessary
  • Ongoing monitoring, review and creation of website content, including partner and lawyer profiles, capabilities, homepage, about us, careers and deals pages updating
  • Ongoing oversight of eDM content review and creation, including for insight and campaign-related emails and invitations and event-related emails

Required skills and experience

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A communications, media or public relations degree or similar tertiary qualification
  • Understanding of and experience in digital content development, ideally in a B2B environment
  • Digital/social media, copywriting and traditional media experience (either from in-house or agency roles) desirable
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrated drive and initiative
  • An ability to work well under pressure and operate as part of a team
  • Confidence working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
  • A professional and responsive approach to stakeholder management
  • Outcome orientated and deadline driven with strong project management skills, including the ability to proactively follow-up
