We have an opportunity for an emerging Human Resources professional to join the Sydney People & Performance team in the role of People & Performance (P&P) Coordinator.

 

The P&P Coordinator will play a key role in providing administrative support and assistance in coordinating the Sydney Seasonal Clerk & Graduate programs, and all related recruitment campaign activity associated with these programs. You will also provide daily support to the Sydney P&P team and assist with the resolution of general queries, administrative tasks, employee changes and other ad hoc people-related requests.

 

The role would ideally suit an enthusiastic and proactive coordinator who is looking to grow their HR knowledge and skills within professional services.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects Seasonal Clerk recruitment (including, but not limited to advertising, application review, interview scheduling and offers).
  • Support the planning and delivery of the Lawyer Development Program.
  • Attend and be a brand ambassador for the firm at university careers fairs, student networking events and firm presentations.
  • Responsible for administering and coordinating P&P documentation (including, but not limited to employment agreements, employee letters and checklists).
  • Provide daily administrative support to the P&P team and assist with the resolution of general employee queries as the first point of contact.
  • Assist in the coordination of all of Employee Wellbeing programs.
  • Organising and coordinating the administration of work experience students.
  • Provide new employee orientation support.

 

Required skills and experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and / or 2 years' work experience in a fast paced, professional environment.. 
  • Outstanding time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to present information confidently
  • Ability to effectively support a wide variety of internal stakeholders, with the highest commitment to service.
  • Demonstrates a collaborative and team mindset and builds trusted relationships across all areas and levels of the business.
  • A curious and analytical mindset and sound MS Office and Excel skills.
