Senior Associate - Arbitration

Key responsibilities:
- Subject to partner supervision, communicates effectively with clients and colleagues. Maintains regular contact and builds effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Quickly develops a sound understanding of the commercial context of the legal services sought by the client, the client’s business and their critical success.
- Combines technical excellence with pragmatic commercial advice to partners advising clients on legal issues, opportunities and risk.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Is a technical expert in the relevant area of law in a foreign jurisdiction and is developing a sound working knowledge of the relevant laws in the Australian jurisdiction.
- Experience drafting detailed advices, court documents and other relevant legal documentation on litigious issues.
- Experience negotiating on behalf of clients in relation to legal matters.
- Experience running litigious matters through the life cycle of the matter.
